Ok, been playing for a while now, and just today i noticed a button, at the top right, so can someone tell me.....

Lol thats the transmission button i think it may have been left in sandbox on accident, because i see you are not playing Carrer.

It's the message* indicator widget

It's for in-game messages, so right now that means career emails but the idea is that it can be used for other stuff later, so it's enabled in sandbox even though there's nothing for it to do in sandbox yet.

Other mods can utilize it too, like the Debris Refund Mod - it doesn't make sense in sandbox, but you still get the message that you debris has been recovered (or not...).

So I don't think it is an accident. I think it was left there on purpose for modders to take advantage of it.

...Or maybe it's a self-destruct button! All rockets have a self-destruct button, if you don't believe me ask Elon musk!

I don’t think the grasshopper had a "self-destruct" button. But it did have a safety protocol in the onbaord software that triggered the self-destruct once the craft had varied from its pre-loaded course.

Sad day when I watched that it was pretty but sad as now they need to make another before they move to the desert spaceport. Cant wait for it to be all up and running though so I can buy my ticket to space.

As for the contract report button lets hope it get utilised in lots of ways like calls for help from distant outpost low on resources maybe for TAC ?? or satellite image’s/data returned from deep space probes for people using remote tech or maybe on online chat feature etc etc.
