Animals in KSP

since a kerbal is nothing but a caricacture of us, i think would be funny if the kerbin wildlife were carucatures of our earth creatures as well. (Green cows that produce milk for the greecheese!). Esxept, of course, for the birds and dolphins, everyone knows that they are umniversal species!

I imagine a mod when you cold walk/fly/rover around Kerbin trying to take snapshots of every creature, in the best "Pokemon Snipe" style!

That would be amazing. Kerbin Safari Program

I imagine...

Kerbin has been a difficult planet for the animal like mobile plants to evolve on. Jool moved closer to its star beginning constant bombardment from asteroids that exist in the space between Kerbin and Duna. This has caused mass extinction events many times the rate of earth.

In a rare quite time, the mobile animals evolved intelligence. They built a vault to protect themselves from doom.

A collision event flooded the lands and toxic clouds covered the skies, leaving only grass height plants and small chirping animals. The surviving Kerbals left the vault they had hidden in.

Before they built any cities, they created the KSC and underground companies to develop space flight. This was done to change the fate of Kerbin and prevent destruction by asteroids. The sentient mobile plants had finally taken steps to control their own fate.

But first they needed a good junk yard created from the ruins of a once bigger civilization....

Kerbals are photosynthetic, and can also hibernate indefinitely, like some freaky Earth extremophile. It's the only way to explain how they can survive indefinitely in space with no food, water, or oxygen. Their only weakness is vacuum, which is okay cause they never leave their spacesuits.

The guy who makes the Kerboom comics thought of insectoid dinosaurs. Here are mine (note: they are extinct):

Tyranomantis: A large predator, it looks like a praying mantis. It uses its rear legs for walking, and its middle set for grabbing hold of objects/prey. It uses it fore legs for attacking. It is not capable of flight.

Trispike: a two legged triceratops with compound eyes.

Brontoid: A large herbivore, walks on 6 legs, eats from trees. Slow and stupid.

There probably are animals in Kerbin - they just adapted to flee to parts away from Kerbals and run away whenever a capsule's reentering the planet, so we can never see them!

Hell what if there are even other colored Kerbals, like races? red Kerbals, blue Kerbals, orange Kerbals......

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of this. But I think red and blue Kerbals would be too much. :b I guess the other colours would be dark green and yellowish green.

Everyone likes to imagine all the animals as green, like the Kerbals. That's boring, just because Kerbals are green doesn't mean all life on Kerbin is green. Hell what if there are even other colored Kerbals, like races? red Kerbals, blue Kerbals, orange Kerbals......

Lets keep the racism here to our species only. The kerbal people don't need this kind of ****.
