Boat builders hiring!

Yes, as the title suggests, I need boat builders. But not just anyone but people who can create something that is WORKING, RELIABLE, INNOVATIVE, and LAAAAARGE.

Type of Boats to make: :confused:

Trade/Cargo/Freight Ships

Patrol Boats

Landing Craft

Carriers **Priority**

Destroyers

Battleships

Missile Cruisers

Criteria for ANY ship: :huh:

-"Works"

-Able to float on water

-Able to traverse on Water

-Does not break apart at full speed

-Somewhat Maneuverable

~You can customize your ship in any way possible as you like~

BUT WAIT!!! Large boats are very hard to maneuver... Worry not for I will give a necessary "Technology" in the craft file above.

:DReason why I'm doing this is because there are not too many ship-tech makers out there, got an idea for a ship? Or even a large ship already? Request or Share away!:D

SO COME ON PEOPLE HELP ME OUT HERE!!!

I have been thinking about trying to make a submarine.

By the way i can see this being moved to the rocket builders forum :)

sorry man no subs...currently they are impractical vessels....at 5 m/s for a small sub with no ammo it's kinda doomed for now. but i do have a large welded one that is just siting below the water and can travel at 1.3 m/s! it carries about 11 missiles i think...i'll upload pics soon here

You can feature this in your line up of boats, what i ended up coming up with after seeing this thread, Gave up on a sub.

Driving instructions

Action group 1 toggles the engines, enter the water below 50m/s and then have fun.

To do a spin pitch down and while pitching down pitch to the left or right.

To stop a spin and change direction cut the engines for a second, change direction then re apply them, it will come around much faster if you do this.

No SAS required (Not recommended)

As a side note it will do 100+m/s in the water, but the kraken comes forth and obliterates it.

It is also capable of 160ish m/s on land if you keep it straight. not recommended at all.

Mmm I was going to tell you about the "gentlemans navy" thread but it's now closed :(

So instead Id like to add my Navy to the list

I do need to re-do most ships as I've learnt heaps since I started with them, but I'm really proud of my AC2 for laythe.

All craft 100% etc etc

I wont flood u with pic's instead just let you know they can be found here;

-Zip also comes with rockets & missiles as subassembles for any that want to arm Stock boats without mods.

And I wonder what is this all leading 2 ?

Are you planning a future navel battle ?

Perhaps turnbased games of "Battleship"

deepwater subs may be possible by using a captured asteroid to keep a ship down.

The armored Corvette, USS Enforcer with only 46 tons of displacement and extremely durable armor. Weapons are not included due to their classified nature, and this ship has not been through all trials yet due to a lack of time.

It survived quite a few torpedo strikes without even a scratch. I have an APC/Troop carrier under construction, but this ship can go on land, too.

Future naval projects will take priority after the completion of the first fully operational AIM-54 Phoenix and the NCADE missile for boost phase and terminal phase interception along with anti AWAC based roles in combat.

One possible reference design for my future combat vessel.

The AIM-54 could be upgraded into a version of the AGM-65, which is already in limited deployment.

Any potential AGM-65 naval deployments will have to take place on my new ships, but you're all welcome to try to cram my outdated exocet missile on the corvette.
