Hi marce thanks for this plugin it has saved me a bunch of time implementing a similar system into my mod.

You don't mind if I package this with my download do you. I read your first page and will follow your rules for doing this of course.

Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Sure, if you keep folder structure, lic & version files everything is well :)

I'm still working hard, but see the light, so new stuff should be starting to arrive in about a week.

Version 1.2 released

Changelog:

  • added ModuleMaintenanceHatch (see OP)
  • distance to part now calculated via raycast if the part has collider and has no maintenance hatch

EDIT:

Version 1.2.1 released

Forgot a specific transfer distance for the hatch, added it now :blush:

Thanks for your work on all your mods. Anyway we could get a regular .zip instead of a .7z file? I had to install WinZip just extract the file for this mod.

Hmm, I'm using 7z exclusively since years and never had problems... On Windows 7-Zip handles everything (including zip & rar) perfectly fine and free and Linux has no problems anyway...

Well, I'll try to remember packing it as zip the next time.

I've always just use Windows' stock .zip extraction, so I didn't have any third party utilities installed. I'm sure 7-Zip works fine. WinZip was just the first program listed when Windows searched for the file type association and the WinZip download tried to bundle a bunch of adware with it so I was kinda frustrated.

Anyway, great mods and thanks for your work.

I'm having a issue with the new version where I can't right click on any modules. Version 1.2.2 works but 1.3.1 doesn't.

In the light of recent issues: did you install the Util dll?

If yes and it doesn't work: I need the log.

hey marce a question...how can i make EVA Resource Transfer working with this plugin (it adds EVA propellant) thus i don't get the option to do Monoprop/Eva Prop transfer

Hm, in general it will present every resource present in the part and the Kerbal for transfer (ignoring all flow rules on purpose to simulate stuff like replacing boxes of stuff that doesn't flow etc.)

So it should work if the same resource (whatever it might be) is on the Kerbal and the part.

Please check if that's the case. If it is I'll take a look at mod interop at the weekend.

and there is the problem it;s not the same resource "so to speak" in the capsule it's monoprop but when you EVA then it;s EVA propelant (that's what this plugin is doing) taking monoprop from the capsule and adding it to the kerbal and also renaming it to EVA propelant

and i was woundering if there is a way to make this work with your plugin, also not having the EVA Fuel plugin your's is working as it should

Aaah I see the problem...

That won't work with a MM patch. I'd have to create an exemption for EVA Prop so that it can be converted from MonoProp. So it's a code change.

Can I transfer EVA propellant from a vessel?

As far as I know, there isn't any container for EVA propellant...

Look at CargoTransferBags, UniversalStorage or simply add EVA fuel to capsules with a MM patch.
