very weird fuel flow issue.

Recommended Posts

I have an lander with 8 radial mounted LV-N is fueled from 4 tanks, each tank has a pipe to two engines.

As seen here one tank deliver to 4 engines, then the tank runs dry the other tank takes over. No other piping, has removed pipes to ketane converter during test.

image from below, core in ship is an orbital workshop, two of the engines is mounted on an metal containers offset from the workshop with an small strut. the other 6 on 45 liter tanks. Tried to replace the piping but it don't change anything.

Without the piping none of the 4 large tanks are used and the 6 small ones is emptied at once. with 4 pipes in symmetry to 4 of the engines the tanks are emptied uneven again.

Any ideas? do not find any loops here,

It is not clear to me from your images how exactly is your ship wired up and you use mods I don't so I can't really take a look at your ship. I'll leave this here:

Fuel Flow Rules

It's probably not in fuel lines between each tank and its two engines, but in some other fuel lines you have there or perhaps how your parts are attached to each other.

I found the problem, uses an small octagonal strut to give some air between core and two of the engines because of the melter on top,

The small octagonal struts transfer fuel to an radial mounted module, this caused an loop as the engines could draw fuel from both sources.

Solution was to pipe from the large tanks to core, this was required for kethane converter anyway, then pipe from core out to the 6 engines who was not on struts.

Tested and it worked well.
