Stock Pod WINDOWS Need to be see through

I know that Rasterprop has a "see through" window option in the mod, but nobody has used it yet for the stock pods etc. I would like to see my kerbals through the ports of the pods and containers when they are flying ALONG with any light sources inside.

I just think it would be a cool addition to this game.

I could not agree more that this needs to happen. It would make so much more interesting screenshots if my planes looked like they had pilots in the seats from the outside.

I'm thinking not, since they're already being loaded into memory and rendered for the IVA portrait screens in the bottom-right.

if Squad fixed the orientation of IVAs to match external mesh, we probably wouldn't need the transparentPod module at all. The module is very process intensive as it has to reorient the IVA, swap shaders, and keep track of other pods in the vicinity and swap their shaders depending on when you are in or out of IVA. If you play with the pods a little bit, you'll see the lighting inside is all wrong when you see through the windows, because the IVA is in a whole different orientation than the rest of the world, in a different unity scene I believe. It's also why the windows are all black in the kerbal portraits. You can launch one pod without TransparentPod Module, and one with, and you'll see some very interesting things.

Yeah those are not actually see through windows. What this does is actually making the windows transparent and adding the models to the pod. If you made the stock windows transparenmt, there would be nothing inside, the Internals are not rendered from the flight view.
