Solved/Workaround/Unsolved Prefixes

for the Dev forum and subforums with the option to choose none. It might encourage those asking for help to follow up with feedback for the benefit of those who search the forums.

Also THIS subforum still has the Spaceport prefix.

Is "partially solved" not pretty much the same as "unsolved" anyway? It's a binary condition, there's no real need for an intermediate option in my opinion. And I'm fairly sure it's still quite possible to not select a prefix when posting a thread.

Everything is binary if you insist on it.

I've come across instances a few times where a limitation of KSP forced me and others to give a compromise answer that works, but not very well or not in the precise way that was asked for. I can imagine there are those who'd go for that and those who don't.

And I'm fairly sure it's still quite possible to not select a prefix when posting a thread.

If you say so. I'm fairly sure it's either not, or it's a setting, because here it complained when I tried to start a thread without a prefix.

Rather than partially solved, maybe just a tag that indicates a workaround is available? Or is that too specific for what you intend?

Actually "workaround" sounds better. I don't think it's too specific at all. You're "working around" a limitation. It's good.

I'll wait and hear what the Support moderators want - if they agree a new tag can be added in a matter of a few minutes

Well this has little to do with the moderators. It's mostly for all modders looking for answers or looking to answer questions. The gameplay section already has Answered/Unanswered and it's pretty obvious that since its usually other forum members who answer gameplay questions then the prefix is for them to know whether they need to click or not.
