screen goes black on new vessel launch

When I try to launch a vessel my screen goes black and every thing I do after that is a black screen. I try to start a new game and its the same story.

Simply giving the last few lines of the log doesn't really help anyone. It would help everyone if you provided the mods you have installed and your logs as written in the stickied thread.

Ok I narrowed it down to A.T.M, F.A.R, Procedural Dynamics, B9 + deps and Interstellar 0.12 + deps . all up to date

plus M.M. 2.4.4

I've had similar problems which emerged the moment I installed interstellar. Went from zero to a very repeatable series of kraken attacks just like yours.

It seemed to happen every time I attached a 2.5m fusion reactor and generator to a b9 supercapacitor module on the launch pad. But I haven't put much effort into narrowing what EXACTLY is needed to trigger this, only saying that interstellar is very likely the culprit?
