Roll in MechJeb Ascent Guidance

My normal launch process is SAS on, throttle up, space bar to start engines, 3-2-1, space bar to release clamps, click MechJeb surface engage to roll 90 degrees, then engage ascent autopilot once the roll stabilized.

It would be nice if the ascent ap could set a roll as desired. Maybe a check box like the orbital Smart A.S.S. has.

Is it possible/ have I missed it/ is this a good idea?

Check out the dev builds. This feature is coming soon to the release version. Not only does the dev version allow you to automate the roll to any angle, but it also allows you to set a maximum angle of attack, and limit acceleration to a set rate. While not directly addressing compatibility with FAR / NEAR and Real Solar System, these features taken together make MechJeb ascents with those mods installed much nicer.
