Outpost, Great game from the 90's

Anyone remember this gem http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outpost_(video_game)

Are there any games like this now? You pick all the equipment before launch and that's it, better pray you brought enough stuff.

The first part of Outpost was great (while the 2nd unfortunately turned out to be just a standard RTS).

Never heard of another game that comes close to Outpost (in trying to portray base building on alien planets from a rather realitic standpoint) and/or could be called its spritual successor
