Check if I'm using 64-bit or not?

Recommended Posts

I installed my non-Steam version of the game for the first time ever a few weeks back and I've started having fun with it. My plan is to use this side install for mucking around with lots of mods, and leave my Steam game for vanilla gameplay and for using the most up-to-date version (with no concern for day-1 mod incompatibilities).

My problem is... I can't remember if I installed the 64-bit version or not. It's not too big a deal, but I would like to know if there's a way to check the read-me or an indicator in-game or something?

When I launch KSP from the launcher under Win8.1 I get the pop-up question about allowing it to run or make changes etc. It'll either say KSPx64.exe or KSP.exe (or something like that.) You can change which one it launches under settings. Or you can skip the launcher by running which .exe you want from your KSP folder.
