Destruction Demands Debris! *ominous thunder*

A very cruel idea for a mod, but I think some would go for it:

If you destroy a ship, all its parts become debris.

To destroy debris in Career, you must spend Funds.

And there would be a "micro-debris" count driven by the number of times you destroyed debris. After a point it should make more sense to send up a ship to clean up debris than to destroy it from Mission Control.

(Maybe we shouldn't over-think micro-debris unless we want to keep track of every destroyed part's trajectory. To keep it simple, maybe just add the mass of the part to the micro-debris count...?)

Sadistic, no? But certainly one for the realism-hungry. Certainly one for those who already go out of their way to keep space tidy.

And, with the right hooks, others could build parts to lower the micro-debris count. Ever wanted an excuse to use an aerogel in a spacecraft? Here you go.
