Any chance you could remake these landing legs I really miss them, they where the go till these new fangled suspension jobs came in

All you really have to do is lock suspension though, right? Then they're almost identical. Also I highly recommending getting Tweak Scale with this mod. Then you can resize some of the stock parts to better fit them, like the landing gear and nosecones.

Downloaded it few weeks ago I think, and my opinion is that this is a great mod. It's good to have one more pod, gives more diversity to the experience.

I'd suggest you to separate the pod from the rest of the parts. For example, a lot of people probably, including myself, would like to use the pod only. No need for cramming precious RAM with things you don't need, am I right?

With Procedural Parts many already use, more tanks just cram the editor, and the engines... I already have more than I'd possibly ever need.

I've tested this pod with Deadly Reentry parts. It works with the standard Mk1-2 shield, even though it looks a bit larger. Good work.

A little idea.

What if instead of insisting the (original looking) command pod to hold three kerbals, you reduce it to one or two. And keep the parts at their original size. Just sayin'

Have a post from the mod author a page back.

Also if you want it to be a 2-man pod, just go to SciFi/_Legacy/Parts/Pod and open part.cfg. Inside that look for a line that says "CrewCapacity = 3", then change it to 2.

Anyone else having this problem?

Have the pod seems to be stuck in some sort of permanent shadow.

That's weird. I have never run into that before, even now on a stock install. My guess as to why it's doing that is the normal map is messed up, but I'm not sure why it would be. It ends with _NRM, so ATM knows what it is.

Is your version of Active Texture Management up to date? (if you have it)

I don't have ATM installed now, but I think I did a while back. Actually now that I think about it, I've installed and removed so many mods on this KSP install that I've probably just borked things in some way. I'll do a fresh install later today!

This was already gone by the time I came around, but I always liked the looks of it. I thought it was just a 1-kerbal capsule though. To me, it would make better gameplay sense to make it a 1 kerbal capsule, then give the textures an old and worn look and have this replace the starting pod (but not by much, maybe just move the starting pod to Survivability.) Good work bringing it back though.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll try and illuminate the pod a bit more, but I'm not sure about the windows. Reducing the size and spreading them apart would reduce what little visibility the pod has, but it would also bring it a lot closer to the original. Would something like this be any better?

Also I've almost finished one of the old fuel tanks. I'll post a picture when it's complete, but right now I have studying to do...

Oh, and about that navball bug, I've never seen that before. I'll see if I can replicate it when I get a chance.

Definitely liking those smaller windows.

Can we have a 1.25m version of these? Including a 3-Kerbal Mk1 Pod? To hell with realism! I want nostalgia!

I haven't been playing for long enough to remember this pod, but it looks awesome. Especially the IVA. Nice Job on that!

actualy, if you look behind the VAB there a small monument of the original ksp pod.

@Noob21, it would appear that the mod has been unsupported for quite some time.

This is another friendly reminder for everyone to check the dates on posts of threads you read. If they're much older than a few months since the last post, then it's likely the information is outdated. Just start a new thread if it's appropriate to do so :)
