Moveable HUD elements

Recommended Posts

Hi,

it would be nice to have moveable (draggable) HUD elements. For example the navball is always at the bottom center position and often overlaps important objects in the back at which the camera is focused (and normally centered).

What kind of monitor do you have that still has burn in issues? Most modern monitors require days if not weeks for an image to burn in.

Anyways, back on on topic: I support having movable UI elements even if it is just the nav ball. Though to add to UI enhancements I would like a UI scaling option as well. I play on a 28" 3840x2160 monitor and I fell forced to run the game at 2560x1440 because at 4K resolution the UI is too small and I often need to lean in toward my monitor to read some of the information on the UI or clearly see the parts in the VAB/SPH.

if you play hours on end and the nav ball remains there for a few weeks I can believe it will burn in

there is a ui scale option in the graphics settings

Meh moving the navball could help some people. But i assume for most its more of a non issue. I for one don't have much room to move the navball around anyways.

Its ability to drop down, and thus out of the way fixes most issues with its placement. And up until now I never thought of needing the navball to move.

I just don't see a large application of this and why it should be in stock. It does add something to the game, but is it that critical?

But than the information it shows are not visible anymore. It don't want it make to disappear, I just don't want it to overlap parts I want to interact with when I zoomed in (since the camera is normally also centered on the object it surrounds). For example, when I'm toggling options of RCS trusters, bosters, parts, etc. the navball is sometimes in the way.

Afaik, all the windows of all other mod are moveable and I find it quite helpful.

Not at all. Is there a dropdown or checkbox where suggestions can be marked as critical or noncritical? I'm sorry if I created this topic in the wrong way. I quite often see people complaining about the relevance of suggestions. It was not my intention to say that it must be implemented into the next release. I just wanted to make a small suggestion and hear your opinions.
