Did I miss anything?

I've only just started playing KSP again in late August and only a month later did I try to get active on the forum again and I've got a few questions regarding the forums in general and maybe a bit about its possible history.

First, I am sure I posted on the forums back in 2011 or at the latest in early 2012 yet my post count was zero when I got back. Did the forum suffer a wipe or something?

Second, I'm guessing there were changes to the account info meta because I could not save any changes before I changed my birth date to a more modern date (it was set on December 25th 0001 (because I'm a rebel)). Anything else pertaining to accounts that was changed that I might be made aware of and that would be useful to know?

Third, I'm sorta interested in learning the lost history of the forums and KSP in general that I missed. So, how did 2012, 2013 and 2014 (so far) go? Not interested in gossip but more of a general outline.

P.S. Haven't yet seen (though I haven't looked hard) other users from the remote year of 2011. Where y'all at?

Yes, there was a huge data loss somewhere around April 2012, to my memory.
