dx 6 vs 6I (for RC planes)

if you have no idea what i am talking about, please do not respond

i do not know how many people will respond, but (for RC planes), I am going to get a better transmitter, I currently have the dx5. i am debating between getting the 6 or 6I. if you have (or had) either of these, i would like to know which one is better (du, the 6). the 6 is on sale for $200, but the 6i is $140. the thing is, since the 6 has more planes, but the 6i is cheaper, and that money could go to a plane. thoughts?

ps. i am going to be away from my keyboard this week, but i will be at it today (Sunday) and on the weekend (next sat. and sun.)

I have the 6i and it's great, I haven't looked at the 6 though, what are the major differences?

i use a cheap chinese radio i got off of ebay for $40. not great, though i might mod the crap out of it.
