fuse the alt-record contracts into one

Last SquadCast reminded me of a wish I had for some time:

Put all altitude records into one contract, like the Explore X contracts, it would complete each altitude record step by step.

There are two altitude record contracts. I think OP wants all the starter contracts to be merged into a single contract with several steps, like the explore X contracts. I like the idea, but it wouldn't really change anything. The starter contracts only show up once per game anyway.

I guess 4 contracts give the player an illusion of choice, while having only one means you can't mess up, you've only got one option.

There are actually a near infinite number of Altitude Record contracts. They will keep being generated with a higher altitude than your highest flight until you reach space. I think they are there for more novice players who are just starting with KSP. For that reason, I do not think they should be changed. Most experienced players will just complete the 5km one and the reach space contract and never see any of the other altitude record contracts.
