Kreckless Contracts (WIP)

Kreckless contracts, (its not misspelled of course, the k is silent) is an idea under development and open for feedback. Inspired when doing just simple contract and accidently landing on top of the VAB. What was planed for was to land close to the centre of KSC and complete some easy science. The second time around the craft looked like it would catch the edge of the VAB and the chute would cut causing it to fall from the top. But came very close, just skimming it, that side of the building needed to be wiped, and landing right beside the VAB West doors. Now kerbals and buildings are both in peril, ahmmm.

Is this a worthy challenge? So how to make this into a challenge? How to keep track other than screen capture? There has to be some sort of risk and more risk more points. These are some of my ideas:

Hard landings on buildings, positive points

Debris buzzing towers, positive points

Surviving parts, negative points

Auto pilot or core, negative points

Number of explosions (not just cheap crap colliding we need tanks full fuel fed explosions and don't skimp out on the oxidizer) ,scaling points 10 20 50 100 200

Proximity to buildings/kerbals, scaling points 10 20 50 100 200

Number of involved buildings/kerbals (kerbals are not to be just standing around but are with the craft), scaling points 10 20 50 100 200

Buildings/Kerbals destroyed, negative points.

Kerbals bailing out and first one down with low time to impact ratio - that is the kerbal ejects reaches the surface then the incoming debris should be next to reach the surface with the least amount of time seperation, multiplier

Contract part should be used legit. That is it is useful in the craft design/operation and not just tested landed or wasted. Decoupler of nothing is not very useful.

Contract prestige, multiplier

Contract completion and surviver. WIN.

Havent even tried this out yet because working on another challenge. Maybe after some feedback. Here are some crappy pictures:

This seems like a good challenge to me... especially as each building is it's own biome now :D

It would be entirely up to you how you set it up rules/leaderboards-wise, and the only other challenges I've seen are to desroy all the buildings, not land near them and not blow them up!

have a read through similar challenges (I would say the ones that ask you to fly planes around KSC or to land things near them) for some more ideas on how to do it, notice how the popular ones are laid out, and try to make it stand out in a fun way :)
