standalone Lamps and sensor mod

is there a mod package similar to the lamps and radial sensors that are offered in B9. also the landing gear would be cool

i want something that is independent of other mods (firespitter, etc), also i dont really want such a large part pack, the landing gear is only because the stock options are too limiting

The sensors and I believe the lights just use stock modules. You can safely prune the rest of the parts. And the Firespitter dll is not a huge dependency given how many different mods use it. The dll takes a very small amount of memory relative to models and textures.

except if i were to do that i would still have the lighting bug where the lamps can illuminate the planet better then the sun. i think someone really should release a pack like this just to give it the attention it deserves. would make sense if it was near future or rover dude for his USI series.

Any pack released like this would have the same problem. It's using stock emissives and animations.
