HGR mod heat shield

i just wonder does heat shields that is part of some mods are only decals or is have value if i install mod that make reentry realistic?

An example: If you install Bobcat's Soyuz, there's a seperate heat shield as a part which you have to attach to the Command Pod. This is just a part like all the other structural parts, it doesn't do anything. But with the mod "Deadly Reentry" installed you will get some heat shields, and that mod will make reentry a lot more realistic. So you are probably looking for that mod.
