Aerial Docking Challenge

Ok I'm not quite sure about this challenge but I have a vague idea about this.

Challenge

Dock one jet to another Jet while flying through the air. Make sure you take off both crafts separately and after the docking, land both of them near KSC, runway not required (you can try both at the same time, but thats your choice)

Rules

Don't be cheeky and try anything like two little probes that dock via parachute and rcs

The docking has to be between two vehicles that can be classified clearly as jets or planes

Give a preview of both crafts so that I can see you didn't abuse anything that would make it easier than it is

Give a download for both Docker and Tanker

Try to keep the parts stock. If you by death require B9, go ahead. It just makes it easier for me if you keep it stock.

Extra Information

Dock with docking ports because when you move, use the claw, and are in the atmosphere, your game will crash.

The scoring will be determined by distance from a craft that is in KSC (start of runway) or the ingame time it took (I have a poll)

Remember that the vehicles can never get further than 2.5km apart, or the one you aren't controlling will be deleted as 'debris'.

Tell me what you think should be changed or different. This challenge is under development

As you guys saw: 49.7 Km away from KSC, and roughly 5 minutes at docking

There has already been a challenge for this, but not for a while.

Remember that the vehicles can never get further than 2.5km apart, or the one you aren't controlling will be deleted as 'debris'.

Please show us your completed example, as per the challenge posting rules.

Thanks for the info. My example should be up now. One question. If there were other challenges like this, did they have a scoring system, and if they did, how did that work for them?

I'm assuming that infinigliders as a whole aren't allowed...? I realize that the following attempt breaks several of the rules (not very plane-like, no landing at KSC) but I could easily complete this challenge in very little time and very close to the KSC if I placed an infiniglider in a stable <5m/s near-hover.

Thats fine. it was just required to land near KSC. As long as no one else posts, I guess you're #1
