Homeworld Tiiadan Assault Frigate + New Videos!

If you think Macey Dean's SW Battle Cruiser was big, this is massive. Not only is this a really cool looking vessel, it's a fully functional battleship, which it will be brought into battle in the next video.
Excuse my ranting of Homeworld. I love that game. The Tiiadan Assault Frigate in Homeworld is what this star ship was modeled after.

There's also Homeworld 2, but those are some complex designs. I don't think I'll be making ships in KSP from that game.
But I will probably make more Homeworld ships if this gets enough attention.
Please don't ruin the Homeworld series GearBox. Don't turn the game into fighting and effects. I would seriously play a Homeworld that has the same graphics as the original if it has a new storyline/different take and new maps/missions/blah blah blah.

When I first saw the new explosions, I was doubtful because they didn't have that rocket fuel explosion look to them, it looked more like burning gasoline.
In testing my new battleship - an Assault Frigate, designed from an old game called "Homeworld" - I was proven wrong, the new explosions are amazing.
So is smashing into the VAB.

I was originally going to add in music much more of an epic hardcore sound, but the quirkiness and eventual epicness of the patriotic American song "Stars and Stripes forever" fit it way more.
Yes I know the gravity is off. But that Assault Frigate doesn't go anywhere with it on.

Now it was time for the real test, I decided the best competitor would be Macey Dean's SW Battle Cruiser. Since mine was so massive, had a fair amount of armor, and had a lot of shots, I thought I could take this thing out. The Assualt Frigate would have to be quick and accurate with it's first shots to disable the Cruiser in someway that would eventually lead to the cruiser's destruction from not being able to fight back with it's primary weapon.

But things did not go to plan.

I'll attempt to create a better battle in the future. Until then - Merry Explosions! Edited December 24, 2014 by Zowja

Thanks man, I hope I can do something like this again for another ship. I feel like this would have been WAAAYY easier to build and could have focused more on detail if I would have designed this in 0.90, but no I made the frigate in 0.25.
