Disabling debug menu

Recommended Posts

Just....can't.....resist....clicking.....infinite.....fuel........ :P

Thats the problem! Too weak.

Just made awesome lander , nearly got to Moho...and missed like 5% fuel to land normally. So instead of using quickload and trying to land more efficient I just added some fuel. And now feeling myself a sinner.

Like your teachers no doubt used to tell you, you're only cheating yourself....

Seriously, the game is more fun when you have missions that fail. Because then, those which succeed mean more to you. And also, you get to do fun rescue missions etc.

The debug menu is useful for testing stuff or building silly things, but you'll enjoy the game more if you are disciplined about never using it for your saved games.

So, what you want is an option to turn off the cheat menu to keep yourself from using it... what's to stop you from simply re-enabling it? If you lack the self control to not use the cheat menu, how is disabling it going to help when you would lack the self control to not re-enable the cheat menu? I suppose we could have a button to disable the ability to re-enable the cheat menu, but then we would need a button to disable that button, and another one to disable that button..... it's button inception!

The problem is in the fact its too easy to access.

My KSP loads about 10 minutes (very old hdds)

I will just be too lazy to wait, retrying stuff will be faster

Anyway , will train self-control.
