hope you like long playing in the dark. =P

:P That\'s the thing! This keyboard can last up to 3 months in complete darkness on a charge, and it doesn\'t need much light to start charging. Even a flashlight can charge it :D

I looked up the keyboard, then found a mouse, then some toys, a backpack, a phone, an e-reader, but nothing interested me until the tie, too bad I don\'t even know if it is being sold anywhere.

Nice. It did come with a charge cable just in cause the sun blows up? ;)

So why don\'t you just use the batteries...? ???

Thats a pretty good idea. :D

I used to do that with my Solar powered calculator.

Too bad the recharge batteries in it died and the solar panel got scratched (Never letting my cat get near solar powered stuff like that again.)

This.

Keyboard.

Is.

Awesome.

Especially the software.

Key presses are beautifully smooth, reports amount of Lux it\'s receiving in real time if you press a button.

Function keys are very customize-able (it opens Gmail :D).

You can even disable keys, like Caps-Lock. I\'m not sure if this completely disables the key, or if Windows just ignores it. I\'ll find out later today when I play some KSP.

Came with a nice cleaning cloth too :D Just gonna take about a day or two to adjust to the change in size of the keyboard. It\'s not tough, I typed most of this post out without any issues.

Logitech makes wonderful hardware, and their customer support in case things break is very nice too.

My full desktop is all Logitech gear I bought. Squeezebox for speakers, keyboard, mouse, and joystick/gamepad.

They cost a bit more, but I think they\'re usually worth it. (cue people finding and posting every single failed Logitech product ever ;) )

Their mice break easily though...

They last a year and then stop working...

Really? You think Logitech mice are delicate? I don\'t know what you\'re doing to yours, but mine all go through absolute hell. (clumsy oaf, tripping over the cords, letting them fall in the floor, etc)

But I have yet to have a standard logitech optical mouse fully die on me.

Now Logitech gaming mice; those are a completely different story. If that\'s what you\'re talking about I agree with you wholeheartedly.

True true. Technically it should be called 'Light' powered.

My room ceiling light seems to provide enough to charge it a bit. Only about 31 lux (they suggest 100), but that\'s my room light alone. It\'s midnight currently.

During the day, about 2.2m from a window I get about 130 lux

Or you could Spend 300$ For PURE sunlight its a mirror on your roof that sends Suns rays through a prism then into your room its well worthit
