The best free game/simulator recording/image taker besides Fraps free?

i don't want to download Fraps cracked version or pirated version because it's illegal. Is there any free game/simulator recording/image taker like Fraps?

Open Broadcast Software will let you do recordings. It's faster than fraps too.

If you have an Nvidia video card you can do shadowplay. It's fast enough that recording goes unnoticed.

I recommend OBS, its completely free, no watermark, no recording limit and the quality is good (from what I've seen so far).

If you want still images you can just press the F1 key ingame. F2 will hide all the GUI so you can shoot without the clutter. These get put in a screenshots folder in your game install folder.

Please? People are getting on to me about not putting crafts on my rocket building company Eagle Fly Corporation (EFC).

Bandicam is quite free, but until paid it does splash its ID all over the top 1/10 of the screencap.

It does perform quite well though, I see no detectable delay due to capturing vid.

I can't deal with free trials. Once it expires I have to delete it and download it again. They're hard to deal with sometimes.

VLC can do it. I'm not sure it's a great option, it's a bit fiddly and might not be the most CPU-efficient, but it does work.

It is, you use the free version like me, it has a watermark though
