Which version of Unity?

So what is the latest version of Unity I can reliably use with PartTools 0.23? Asking because of some random silliness with particles, and figured I would make sure I was on an appropriate version of Unity.

I been using 4.2.2.

Unity stopped supporting legacy animation component in newer versions (material animation is broken); I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same with legacy particle system. Unity 4 introduced new particle system, but parttools 0.23 is still the legacy system.

Which is annoying, because in Unity 4.3 BlendShape animations were introducted. Hopefully they will update partTools soon so I can use those juicy BlendShape animations.

If I may ask too.

I just found out that I installed 4.5.2 version of Unity. Will I have problems importing stuff to unity and to KSP ? Should I go to version 4.2.2 ?

There shouldn't be any problems if you aren't using features from newer versions. As precaution, I would install 4.2.2 to a different location, export your 4.5.2 project as a unity package and import the package to 4.2.2.
