The definition of "Kerbal"

Kerbal n. Someone with a glorious enthusiasm for risking (and possibly sacrficing) his or her own life in the pursuit of science and/or exploration. For example: In the real world, Neil Armstrong comes to mind, as well as a number of others.

Kerbal adj. Having qualities such as boldness of design, and/or having a high possibility of causing unintended injury or death.

Kerbal v. Assembling something without proper safety mechanisms or performing proper safety procedures.

"To Kerbal" is a verb, synonymous with "epic fail". Example: "That Proton-M sure Kerballed back last May".

"Kerbal" is also an adjective conveying a sense of eagerly getting into an external chair duct-taped to the side of however many big, highly explosive rocket parts you can imagine and aiming for the heavens, totally forgetting a parachute or even checking the staging first. Synonymous with "lemming-like" as stereotyped incorrectly. Example (including another use of the verb sense): "Dude, that monster truck was so Kerbal! What kind of diseased imagination could have conceived it? And then it totally Kerballed, killing the driver and burning for 20 minutes while the other totally Kerbal monster trucks just kept driving over it, like they were trying to stomp out the fire. It was SSOOO Kerbal!"

"Kerbal", a noun, signifying a small, green lifeform from another universe where the laws of physics are totally different. Synonymous with "cannon fodder", "pressganged galley slave", "lemming", "Kraken bait", and "sacrificial victim".
