Sabactus
Ive been having a problem balancing the mass of my ship, maybe im just putting things in orbit that are just too big, because when I use RCS to translate up down left and right the ships orientation shifts. Any tips on how to correct this?
semininja
There\'s not really a way to tell where to put the RCS blocks aside from just eyeballing it and adjusting, but ASAS will usually correct the attitude change if you have it turned on. astrophysics147
The most efficient way to use the RCS thrusters is to have a set of 4 as close to the top of the craft and 4 as close to the bottom
Zephram Kerman
Theoretically, we should put all the thruster blocks the same distance from the center of mass. The challenge is that center of mass keeps changing, due to staging and fuel burn. So, yeah, what Semininja said.
