demo syncronize

Hello;

I checked the system specs wiki page, and don't know if my PC can support the game.

however, the demo's requirements are lower, and I can't help thinking my PC's performances are in the gap between the demo and the normal version's requirements.

Is it possible to create a "check config" pack, with only the game motor and pre-defined actions, just to see if the game is fluid?

thank you.

Bonjour;

merci.

Worst performance I've ever seen came off of the worst laptop ive ever had the misfortune of using, 4 parts crashed the VAB/SPH and 3 gave me 2 fps in flight.

An i3 equivalent or better CPU with a bargain bin GPU would work fine.

The game itself isnt really all that GPU heavy, it does however EAT memory which causes crashes, when you add mods. This has been reduced somewhat by other mods though.

it is a laptop, core i3 3110m, intel graphics 4000, 4GB ram,...

but in fact what I am asking is more general,a pack to evaluate the PC's reaction with theese or thoose game settings (number of FPS on flight, time to responce, etc,...) with the actual full version, freely (sorry if I repeat myself)

thank you!

I don't think a pack like that exists, but you should be fine. You are probably used to lag already, and KSP won't even cause your GPU to contribute to the bottleneck. You can also adjust the accuracy of the physics in the full game, trading accuracy for speed, which I don't think you can do in the demo (though I just probably pulled that out of my ass).

There is a terrific website called canyourunit, and I absolutely love it. It automatically scans your computer and determines whether it can handle the game you test it for.

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

CYRI uses the specs it has been given as a comparison, and those may be out of date.

As Starwhip said, the game has been optimized quite a bit in recent versions.

If you can run the game 'fluidly' (I assume you mean at a reasonable framerate) on the demo version then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to achieve similar (if not better) performance on the latest version.
