Right now there isn't a good way to do that; Planet Factory is long dead, and Kopernicus is not quite ready yet. You can however use Kopernicus to clone planets and then use RSS to edit the clones...

While it's true that planet factory is long dead as far as support is concerned, the code is still functional and a simple recompile against the .25 libraries allows it to work properly.

RSS operates via .cfg files. You can open the RealSolarSystem.cfg file to see an example of what RSS does. What exactly are you trying to do?

MCFG22: Sorry, what does the Np stand for in this instance? All I know of is "no problem"...

For editing terrain, you would want to edit the various PQSMods that create the terrain. Please watch

to get an overview of how terrain works in KSP.

I actually did use Kopernicus and RSS to make a moon for Eeloo. Unfortunately when I time-warped the new moon stopped following it's orbit. Also, it's really spiky.

What I mean is add planet-creating capabilites to RSS. This would also allow making more planets and moons.
