I was hoping to buy some warhammer or a model, instead, look what I found!

My parents bought it for me for £12. I\'m actually really happy with it...

I haven\'t been so happy about getting a toy since I was like 8, I think.

The original one was grey, not white.

Apparently it came out in \'79, much later than I thought.

What I remember is how people used to hack them (we didn\'t call it that back then!) and interface them with a computer. You\'d then sticky tape a pen on the back, and hey presto! Instant floor turtle . . .

* And for you young\'uns that have no idea what a floor turtle was, it was basically a robot with a pen. You used a language called Logo to program it, and once your program was done you could have the robot draw you a pretty picture. Hang on *rummage rummage*

I had some of the motors, wires, and touch sensors for this [got them in a large box of Lego from one of my dad\'s principal friends].
