Does Yosemite work with KSP 0.25?

Recommended Posts

I suggest, Your decision to upgrade to 10.10 should NOT be driven by improving ksp performance.

I upgraded... and as a result my overall system degraded to the point where I cannot run any normal applications let alone ksp.

Don't do it. Wait for 10.20.1 or 10.10.2

Check the Internets. It's not good news regarding 10.10.

I don't know if it will work, so I'm just asking. Also, is there a performance decrease? I'm thinking about upgrading and I had a performance decrease when I upgraded to mavericks

Unlike others, I have not had any problems with 10.10. In fact, performance increased for me on my iMac, and I'm able to run KSP 0.25 without any kind of problems. In fact, it's faster than Mavericks was in my opinion. My iMac has an i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a Radeon graphics card for reference.

Now, with that being said, I can see the performance with a Mac older than three years not being great at all.

Thats what my research suggests. Mine is a 2008 so I won't be updating any time soon

well, late 2011 iMac here. also Macbook pro 15"

10.10 behaves differently on each. Reliability has been reduced in my opinion. Not just with KSP.

Do what you want - just remember to make a full validated backup on Mavericks - otherwise reverting is next to impossible without extra effort.
