The full spacecraft will yes. But this is just an incomplete capsule test. This is nothing more then a regular payload in a satellite fairing, the proper spacecraft will have a slim and small fairing with a launch escape tower.

the chairman has just reported that the S-200 boosters and the liquid core stage has performed as expected.

BUT also, the research and development costs are low since most of it has already been done by the U.S. and other countries. What is wrong with your layout?

Besides, they are not using an existing craft and not all knowledge is public, so yes, it is a tad easier to do, but it is still rocket science and really, really hard to do right.

ummm, Voskhod is a bad role model. Those three people were not as much "managed" as "crammed" inside.
