Spearka
Currently, i am unable to actually purchase KSP because1.not allowed Paypal account2.no credit or debit cards eitherso i would like to propose a tradeone individual uses this method of gifting KSP to myselfIt\'s easy to gift KSP...Gifter creates a store account using the Giftee\'s email. Use the Gifter\'s information for payment. Make purchase. Sanitize Gifter\'s information from Store account. Give password to Giftee. Giftee changes password in Store account and puts their information in.KSP has been gifted!Cheers!Capt\'n SkunkyKSP Community Managerin exchange, the chosen individual gets a game in return, namelythrough steam trading of coursebtw if you don\'t have steam you can access it hereif you are interested pm meif you think i am a douchebag with this whole concept...sorry
Capt'n Skunky
1.not allowed Paypal account2.no credit or debit cards either1. You don\'t need a PayPal account. PayPal is just the payment processor.2. Just go buy a Visa/MC gift card. Most drugstores and grocery stores sell them.No need to go through some complicated trade procedure.Cheers!Capt\'n SkunkyKSP Community Manager

softweir
what gift card? i see only ksp storeThe Gift Cards they are talking about are an alternative to the old idea of book tokens and other gift vouchers that you can buy in shops, the difference being that they have a 'Credit Card Number' printed on them that can be used for internet transactions. They are fixed-value, one-off cards that can\'t be topped up and nor can you borrow money with them, and you don\'t need to supply any personal information when you buy them. After use they are disposable. So, if a person can manage to scrounge up the equivalent of $15.00 in cash and has a convenience store near them that sells these Gift Cards, then they have the means to buy KSP without running any risk or offending any rules laid down by parents etc.

samstarman5
Well, you still have to give personal info to buy KSP on the store.Keep in mind that that personal info is kept confidential by Squad. It is more for helping to prove you are you if a hiccup occurs in a transaction or with your game account. So it actually is to your benefit. The information that does not include a red asterisk is not required and therefore you do not have to fill in. The rest is information you give every day to friends and stores anyway and not so personal.Anybody reading this thread who are under 18 and is looking for help on purchase, please make sure you get your parent\'s or guardian\'s assistance. Taking initiative and buying your own gift card to buy the game is commendable, but you can end up entering in info that might be better left off. I know I am sounding like an overprotective granddaddy here, but where your personal info and finances are concerned, it pays to be careful. It helps to learn from your elder\'s goofs. zack2014
I had this problem a while ago, and Capt\'n Skunky was incorrect, this is just as a general notice, 'debit' gift cards, do NOT work with PayPal. I spent a long time attempting it.I think it\'s because PayPal has no way of knowing how much is still on the card, so it doesn\'t allow you to finish the transaction.Just a heads-up. Australian Sloth
I ended up buying an australia post prepaid visa so I could buy the game.I had no problems with the paypal store at all.
vexx32
Er... well, although I have heard that before, I have also heard from various people who have been able to get a debit gift card to work with PayPal. I don\'t know what those people do differently, but I know some have problems with them, while others seem to be able to get them working quite easily. Zephram Kerman
I totally get this, in three ways. First, Spearka is obviously young, and trying to honor his parents. Let\'s show some respect for that.Second, the financial industry has earned our scorn. If someone doesn\'t want their child to use a credit card or PayPal, it absolutely makes sense; let\'s respect that too. In my opinion, suggesting Spearka use a MasterCard gift card is too close to circumventing his parents. The right thing to do would have been to suggest his parents process the transaction for him.Third, not all of us enjoy the growing trend toward zero privacy. Yes, when I bought KSP I entered the required info. But I did so grudgingly, because I know how to protect myself, and as a boring old guy I\'m not much of a target. A minor is a target for certain people, and needs to be that much more cautious. Please, let\'s be respectful of people trying to protect their privacy. vexx32
Well, let\'s see. I suppose I could just buy it for the poor fellow. I buy people Minecraft codes every single week for the hell of it, so I guess once or twice here should be doable.@Spearka:I\'ll contact you via PM and see if I can do something. I already have Terraria, so consider it a free gift.
