cant do maneuver nodes

I dont know if this is a bug but sometimes i get into space and i click on my flight path and i cant set maneuvers. If this is a bug then fair enough but if its part of the game then can we change it.

Yeah, long term bug.

If you have MechJeb, you can use its maneuver planner to set a node in a certain number of seconds, and then tweak that node manually as required

Depending on your orbit setting a maneuver node can be tricky. If you see a blue dot (or a dot that is the same color as your orbit) left click and that should bring up the menu to add a node.

Sometimes you have to place a node elsewhere on the orbit and drag into place ... sometimes you can't place one ANYWHERE and have to exit to KSC and return.

Oh, and sometimes you have to zoom in to see two different orbits so you can place the node on the right one. It usually helps to focus your view on the sun and adjust your zoom so the two orbits are WELL in the foreground.
