SSTO and Deadly reentry

So, i'm trying to build the first SSTO plane in my new career.

I have all i need to get the plane to orbit, jet engine, air intakes, and large wings, plus a lv 30 to get me to into orbit.

the problem is: now that i have deadly reentry installed, when i get reentry effect during the acceleration, my plane simply burn into picies (as i expect).

So, is possible to have at all SSTO with deadly reentry or i have to stick with shuttles and rokets?

i don't see how u could make a plane that can endure the reentry effect during the ascent profile of an ssto...

help me please :(

Yes, it is absolutely possible to make SSTOs work with Deadly Reentry in play. In fact, in many respects they're more important when DRE is in effect; the lifting surfaces of a spaceplane allow for much better descent control than a capsule, allowing you to reenter as fast or slow as you like.

If you're burning up during ascent, you're accelerating too much at too low an altitude. Climb more steeply.

Alternately, you may have DRE misinstalled. When things are burning up, what speed are you doing at what altitude?

Also, however: what other mods are you using? Most importantly: are you using FAR (you should)? If you post some screenshots of your ship, we'll be able to diagnose the most obvious issues with it.

I run FAR and DRE, have since I started over a year and change ago. All I do is SSTOs, and I can tell you a thing or two about DRE and FAR.

As far as climbing to orbit and burning up, Wanderfound is dead on, you are going to fast to low. Climb to over 12km before you start to go supersonic, and you should ideally be over 20km before you go hypersonic. I am usually going mach 3 by the time I hit 20km, and mach 5 around 25km. My hull temps rarely climb over 900deg during the ascent.
