Falling into a vehicle while exiting a pod causes the game to crash.

Recommended Posts

1. Build a counstruction of 5 capsules: 4 radial and rotated by [Alt] + [W], placed on 4 stock structural rotated parts and one central pod.

2. Go to the launchpad.

3. Tell the central pod Kerbal to leave it.

*Resul8: The game crashes. I can provide crash reports on request.

EDIT: The crashlogs. No shipdata, unfortunately.

I'm very interested in this 0ritfx. Do you think you could provide a picture of the craft you are describing? You did a good job describing it, but the directions and orientations might be important.

You can find a description of how to take and upload screenshots in the same place you found the bug report format: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/92230-Stock-Support-Bug-Reporting-Guide

Welcome to the forums! :D

Cheers,

Or, even better, a copy of the actual .craft file...

This has happened to me before, either falling onto another craft or the ground after jumping off a ladder. The game instantly crashes, and on reload everything around the area, including flags, is on an escape trajectory from Kerbol.

Yep, it does happen. Unfortunately it's been notoriously difficult to replicate. If you have a craft that you're able to do this with consistently, please share! :D

And Pad is right, a .craft would be even more epic.

Cheers,

Will daliver today. Or tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, I kinda thought that I'll get email notifications when somebody replies.

It doesn't do it by default but you can make it do so. Pick "Subscribe to this Thread" from the "Thread tools" menu at the top of the thread (on the right just under the thread title). Then select whichever option you want from the page it takes you to.

You can also change the default subscription method by clicking the Settings button (top of page next to Log Out). The default subscription mode is on the "General Settings" page (in the menu on the left).

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
