Extraplanetary Launchpads problems

Hi KSP'ers, I need help with the rocket parts on the extraplanetary launchpads mod. How do I get the rocket to build? I have enough rocket parts, and I click build and nothing happens. Do I need to be in space for it to work?

Thanks it works now, though my first attempt it took all day to build an stock replica of the Mercury-Redstone.
