So... Jeb is always first in line.

Is there a way or mod that allows one to set a preferred Kerbal?

I'd like to spread the zero-G love without having to edit the manifest every time...

Set Kerbal "A" .. do a few missions/launches .. Set Kerbal "B" .. etc...

Stick Jeb in a can and park him on the runway for a few months

Alternatively get the "FireCrew" mod and temporarily retire your kerbanauts

Real Roster has an option to rotate crew, it also has a few other features such as a black list etc.
