I did laugh but my Google Fu tells me that the video you posted is wrongly attributed to a children's performance. It seems that the recording was actually done tongue-in-cheek by the Portsmouth Sinfonia. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

Nope, you're right. This was actually an experiment done by them, they switched out everyone's instruments so people were playing with something they had never played before.
