AFAIK there's no way to receive notifications of when someone quotes one of your posts. Best you can do is subscribe to thread in which you post (you can set this up to happen automatically), then keep up with the threads.

The place to ask this question would have been the old forum forum which is now the Kerbal Network

If you go to that link you will find many questions and answers about the forum like how to do polls, the rep system and other fun stuff.

Also, to change `unanswered` to `answered` you edit your first post, select advanced and then you can change it there.
