Exploding and bending ships while time warping.

I am having the same problem. 1.0.2 on Windows with no mods. I've noticed that it seems to actually happen to me whenever I transition from ground to orbit. Has happened on the Mun and Minmus as well. If I make it to orbit and I don't time warp at all it does not happen but if I do warp (which I only do once I reach a stable above 70 000 orbit of Kerbin for example) then the ship I am in bends. If I then return to the last quicksave before I timewarped, the bending continues. If I change ships, the bending happens on the new ship as well. If I go back to the space center or even exit to the main menu and return to any ship I have in orbit then they all bend and explode.

It doesn't happen on in atmo flights. Exiting seems to resolve it but takes forever.

I am having a bug similar to this, happens reliably with a certain ship when i time warp to apoapsis during launch. When I activate time warp physics continues to simulate (and no, its NOT the separate physical warp) and, strangely, my speed becomes constant and does not decrease as my orbit heightens towards Apoapsis. The constant speed causes my ship to pretty much continue in a straight line until it exits Kerbin SOI without any thrust applied. Very strange behavior.

I think I have seen that occur in mine but not often and I can't replicate it. My ships actually seem to do the opposite and get stuck in place and no matter if I blast every engine I have in any direction, it does no move or change orbit. You can see other non-selected ships continue their orbits around the planet in map view but I am stuck.

Interestingly that does no happen if I time warp from the space center or the tracking station (so I can actually see how long I need to warp for). I assume that means it is some problem with actually simulating the time warp itself. Like you said it does seem like it doesn't realize it is switching from physical warp to time warp or gets stuck simulating physics upon transitioning from ground to orbit.

I have just figured out a slightly less tedious workaround than exiting the program after each launch. I believe you can switch to a ship or station already in orbit before doing a time warp with the desired ship. You have to do at least a small time warp with this other vessel before you can then time warp with the desired vessel. If I did not do this warp in an already established orbital vessel then the problems still occur (ie switching vessels alone did not work)
