Perform visual survey?

Recommended Posts

Before accepting these contracts, go to the tracking station. The relevant locations will appear on the map, so you can make a decision whether it's cost-effective to bother going there with your current tech.

Once you accept the contract, you fly to relevant area. You can do this by opening the map, clicking on the marker (RMB I think??) and click the 'begin navigation' button (or whatever it says). This will put a marker on the navball that you can steer towards.

Next, check the small print to see what altitude you need to be at (it will be above or below a stated altitude). Many contracts have small details explaining how to complete them hidden in a tooltip that you can expand from the current contracts list (by clicking the [+]). The detail is also included in the description when you accept it, but if you're hasty you might miss this.

When you get there a message will pop up that tells you you're entering the area. Then you basically do a crew report to complete the contract - you don't need to actually return the crew report, so you can daisy chain a number of visual survey contracts with just 1 cockpit if you bin the reports in between.

Yeah, but the original mod...

Never mind. It stops being a CLEVER AND PERFECTLY TIMED pun if I have to explain it. ;.;

Aw... I applaud your clever and perfectly timed humour.

I just deride "colonial" English. :wink:

(Dear moderators, I don't really mean it! Love, The_Rocketeer p.s. Merry Christmas!)
