Slushy magic.

Well for Easter my parents got me a Slushy Magic and candy...

They just wasted their money on the slushy magic.

All the ice cubes are are salt water...

The kind of cup doesn\'t matter as long as you have a lid...

Doesn\'t mean I wont use it, it takes 2-3 hours to fully freeze the ice cubes though...

Yeah, saw that piece of trash on TV. Isn\'t saltwater bad for you? I mean, if you drink enough saltwater straight, you\'ll hallucinate, and then die.

They\'re surrounded in plastic...

The point is for it to freeze colder then water so it can make a snow effect on the drink...

I\'m STILL waiting for those ice cubes to freeze...

It\'s salt water as it will freeze at a lower temperature than the drink. This allows it to absorb the heat energy from the drink causing it to freeze fast enough to make a slushy. They take longer because they are essentially manually doing what a slushy machine does automatically using coolants to reach really low temperatures.

Arrr!

Actually, what they are doing is using the salt so the water doesn\'t necessarily freeze, but become just short of it. You can use this method to chill an entire can of soda in about 2 minutes. Just fill a bowl with water, put in a few things of ice, and about 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bam, superchilled soda. 8)

That\'s what I\'m saying.

Salt water dehydrate\'s you. It\'s like eating salt, after a while, if you have nothing to drink, bad things happen.

I have a slushy machine, it\'s pretty cool. Mine has an inner metal container with a small motorized paddle to stir it, then that\'s all inside a larger container. You fill the larger container with icecubes and some salt, whatever slushy mix you want in the inner container, turn it on, wait 10 minutes or so, then you turn the spigot and out comes slushy!

You can pour cokes straight in to make a slushy, lots of fruit juices work.

Bourbon and coke slushy doesn\'t work. I was heartbroken. :\'(

Um, I went onto their site to buy sleeves for the drink.

Freeze the chocaholic beverage the site says.

Then it will probably work.(I went onto their FAQ.)

Also I just made my first drink with it...

It takes like 3 minutes to shake with soda...
