The ability to make and save multiple crew reports without having to send it.

So I guess a plugin is needed.

you can do that already just eva a kerbal out, transfer data to the kerbal and then go back inside...

well i am not sure if thi works for .90 but that what i have always been doing

That's true but in 0.90 you can't EVA off the ground until you upgrade your astronaut complex.

Also EVAing when you're in the upper atmosphere or even lower atmosphere is dangerous.

Try "For Science!". It has the most crude UI, and gives you some unnecessary pop-ups, but it is worth it. Your science gain from a mission will explode, it removes the grind, and you don't have to worry about overwriting reports ever again. No EVAs necessary!

I see no mention of crew reports in that page.

But it does take them automatically and stores them so they don't occupy the crew report "slot". Whenever it is active, it takes every science reading that does not disable a part (goo and materials). Only thing to watch out for, is that it WILL remove reading (you ordered) from goo and materials (so you can reset them or discard them instead of hauling them home). If several contain the same reading (to squeeze the last points out of a biome) only one will be kept. (The same would happen if you EVA'd to pick them up one at a time, and boarded with each reading.)
