SAS glitch?

In the new .90 Beta then ever update, my old ships with SAS now don't work. When I hit t, or anyother SAS key, it says no operational SAS modules and no pilots aboard? It shows a Kerbal in the bottom right, Bob Kerman if you must know :/.

Can someone please tell me what the problem is.

As of 0.90, Kerbals now have a specialization and experience level in that speciality. The message does actually tell you the problem; bob is a scientist, not a pilot. Also, SAS requires pilots or a probe (better than stayputnik) to function

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, ok, I was reall;y confused because some of my orbiting ships on m issions can use SAS, but apparently I only have engineers on Kerbin :/.
