CASC patents design for mystery "lander"

The Chinese Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation has very recently created an official patent for the officials are simply referring to as "The Lander", it involves friction stir welding for a very strong structure. What is this lander the speak of? Why does it need to be stronger (large structure perhaps?)?

All will be revealed in time, of course it could simply be a patent troll for a design that will never be used...

But what if it isn't...

In other recent news:

-LM-5 passed an aerodynamic static test.

-Massive breakthroughs have been made with China's large reusable parachute program, which is apparently not for a reusable Shenzhou like I reported but for reusable rocket boosters!

-They have increased programs to get youth into the aerospace sector.

I can't think of why a government space program needs to copyright anything.

It not like a competing space agency is going to copy it and mass produce a lander.

I can see keeping certain technologies secret, but not copyrighting it.

Just Googled friction stir welding, interesting technique.

DISCLAIMER: This is a somewhat pointless post, will likely be challenged, and is poorly translated.

Um what?

I get the sudden and disturbing feeling this "lander" is some sort of game-changer. One on the order of the printing press.

EDIT: Not because of the welding, mind you.

I highly doubt it's anything that big, maybe something mildly interesting at best.

Not a country but a company might have reasons to steal it. Depends what type of lander it is!
