Why Do My Parts Appear Twice In Science Tab

EDIT: raidernick found my error. My really stupid error...

For some reason (in KSP 0.25 and 0.90) two of my parts are appearing twice. As a test, I removed all other parts, including Squad's stock parts; the GameData directory has only these. Although the CFGs reference plugins/module, I've not loaded them as they are irrelevant to the issue. I've attached the two log files below.

You need to allow stack/surface attach for them to be able to be the first part on a vessel.

Also I looked at your cfg files in the zip. You have duplicate model nodes in 4 of the cfg files.

groundresearche.cfg and landscanner.cfg both reference the same model which is landscanner.mu

orbitalresearche.cfg and orbitscan.cfg both reference orbitalscanner.mu

This is going to cause duplicates of both of those parts.
