Fuel transfer in 0.9

I got back to the game after few months as 0.9 came out and i can't seem to be able to transfer fuel between parts, even if it's only two fuel tanks stacked on each other... Were there any tech requirements added to the game about it or am i just an idiot?

Yes there are requirements, not tech but building advances. I'm not sure which building limits this one though - someone in the know will doubtless be along presently.

Not an idiot, but you probably weren't around for the launch thread with some helpful information in it. You need to upgrade the R&D building both to enable resource transfer and to get access to the higher tiers of the science tree.

Slightly off-topic so apologies.

I didn't mean to imply a judgement. I was just letting the community know that I had already flagged it (with the report button) for mod attention so that anybody else noticing the same could save themselves the trouble. Newbies are very welcome to the forum, I just like it neat and tidy round here
