Advanced science for probes and rovers

Heyo.

I was searching for mods that extend rover functionality, but I couldn't see any. For first time I thought that rovers would be useful in career, because of all that visual scans. What rovers/probes are missing are crew report and surface samples. Easy solution is drill for better surface samples than kerbals hand and camera for crew report.

If this kind of mod exist please post the link.

I would recommend this, it adds new ways of gaining science by rovers and probes.

However, I haven't heard of mods that add a camera for making crew reports. You could think about building a small rover with a Kerbal in it, using this cockpit, for example:

You could set up a base where you process Surface samples, you know, this thing?

Keep in mind that it uses up a lot of electricity and needs 2 Kerbals in order to work. However, you won't get as much science for transmitting the experiments, it's always better to bring them back to the KSP.

I hope I helped, when you have some more questions then ask :)

What I mean is something more vanilla like. I've got contract to take surface samples from Minimus, and I'd like to try do that with rover as rover never had any purpose for me earlier. With drill better than hands the transmitted data would be more valuable, and maybe after cruising take lander and retrieve all collected data from rover.

I could add passenger seat on top with 1 kerbal to do the job, but I don't want to do that :/.
